Parent Training - Using the Special Education Toolkit

Parents whose children learn differently are often at a loss to know how to easily and effectively help their children with their homework.

These sessions teach parents to use our toolkit of special education tools to assist with all levels of homework.
The tools in the toolkit are what translates the teacher’s worksheet and the workbooks parents have purchased, into your child’s learning style.
Children using these educational tools show reduced frustration, increased self-esteem, greater confidence as a learner and improved grades.
Toolkit = $25 – purchase or in office
Toolkit plus 2 hrs worksheets in 15 minute educational sessions = $50 – purchase in office
One hour of parent training including toolkit = $45
One hour of parent training plus toolkit including 2 hours of targeted worksheets = $70

 This training is designed to assist parents to become proficient in using the special education toolbox to translate worksheets they have purchased or the children bring for homework into their child's learning style.  The benefits of this training are:

• parents can support their child using their learning style,
• which makes learning easier,
• the consolidation of skills into memory quicker, and
• supports improved grades.  

 Individual sessions are available - groups not necessary.
